Unryu (雲龍紙 – “cloud dragon paper”) is a type of Washi (traditional Japanese paper). It is characterized by long, thin, swirling fibers (usually Kozo/paper mulberry) that are embedded in the sheet, creating a distinctive “cloud-like” or “dragon-like” pattern. It is often lightweight, semi-translucent, and valued for its artistic texture.
